Scouts met at about 8:30 am to help gather food donations from the Grandview Ninth Ward members. Also, Taylor Cline used charitable donation money from family members to further the food drive. The scouts and adults went to Macey's in Provo, where each scout was given a budget of $50 and told to shop for items appropriate for the food drive - - at the checkout each scout was over budget by no more than $10, with Tyler Rife the least over budget. The group took all the donations to the food bank in South Provo on 200 West, returned to Maceys for doughnuts, and all went home. The activity took about 2 hours or so.
Scouts in attendance: Stephan Dartiguenave, Zac Jarman, Tyler Rife, and Creed Rollins.
Adult leaders in attendance: Taylor Cline, Greg Jones, Dan Williams. Chad Carter from the Varsity program was with us and helped a great deal.
