The scouts met with the Young Men and Young Women of the Grandview Ninth Ward for an "Olympics" competition in the chapel's cultural hall. Events included a straw "javelin throw" and teams placing a balloon as high on the wall as possible (picture a tall young woman standing on the palms of the hands of two young men's whose arms are raised high).

Adult leaders in attendance: John Bingham, Taylor Cline, Greg Jones, Bishop Steve Rife, Dan Williams.
